My Simple Spring Makeup | MOTD feat. Too Faced PB&J Palette

I actually did my makeup today! Like I did it with eyeshadow, lipliner, false lashes (gasp!), and everything!

I rarely do my makeup anymore. I mean, I wear it to work and stuff, but I don’t create looks and get dolled up like I used to. I’ve become much more casual in my makeup, but after giving the dramatic looks a break for awhile, it feels good to get gussied up and feel purty! I think I am out of my makeup rut! This needs to be documented!

For today, I wanted to have a pop of color, but still wanted it to be daytime appropriate. I love warm shadows (obvi) and I really like how this look came out! This is what I used for today’s look:

easter sunday

I have been itching to use the Peanut Butter and Jelly palette and I finally decided to use it today! For my false lashes, I used Ardell Demi Wispies, I’ve always been interested in false lashes, but always thought they looked too dramatic. Now, I’m LOVING false lashes! I wish I could wear them everyday! In the next photos, you will see I used two different lip colors. I couldn’t decide between the bold Maybelline Liquid Lip Color in Berry Boost or the muted pink Nude Thrill ( I applied UD’s 24/7 lipliner in 1993 above it).

For my eyeshadow, I applied Peanut Butter all over my lid. I then applied Peanut Butter Cup on my crease and outer half of my lid. I put Jammin’ on the outer corners and blended inward. I also took Spread the Love and just dabbed it on my lid for some sparkle. I took Extra Creamy and put it on my brow bone.

For my lash line, I took Jammin’ and applied it all over, concentrating on the outer half. I then took Jelly and applied it on top of Jammin’, but making sure to concentrate on the inner half.

I couldn’t decide if the Berry Boost lip color was too bold, so I took it off and applied Nude Flush with 1993 lip liner on top!

Which look do you guys like best? The bold berry or the nude pink?? Let me know in the comments!
