Collective Beauty Haul!

Welp. My wallet hates me.

Me right now.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been popping in and out of Sephora and drug stores just buying makeup I didn’t really need. (That’s actually everyday for me, and probably for some of you too).

Here’s what I got:

Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder

Okay so now I know I mentioned that I was buying stuff I really didn’t need, but this I actually did need. I promise. I ran out of my MUFE setting powder and I have been wanting to try this out cause I’ve heard SO many good things about it. So far, I LOVE it. It is on the pricier side ($37.00), but it is so finely milled and it feels like silk on my skin. I use this powder to set my under-eye concealer and it lasts and looks fresh all day, no cakey or powdery look whatsoever. I definitely think its worth the price.

Essie Nailpolishes

Ladylike (L), Berry Naughty (M), Comfy in Cashmere (R)

Lately, I’ve been on this Essie nailpolish kick. Everytime I go to the store I’m like, “I need this one, and this one, and that one, and oooh this one too!” It’s like I wanna own every Essie nailpolish or something. The first color I got was Ladylike, it’s like a taupe pinkish-purple, it’s such a flattering color and perfect for everyday wear. The second color I got was Berry Naughty, and it’s a very deep red berry color with a hint of dark brown–perfect for moody fall days (if we ever get them in California). The last color I got was Comfy in Cashmere, this part of Essie’s new Cashmere Matte collection. In the bottle the color is a taupe-griege lavender with a bright blue sheen, but when placed on your nails it almost looks like a dull brown purple color. I put a top coat on it and the beautiful lavender with blue highlight was back!

Versace Bright Crystal Perfume

My favorite fragrance of all time. I’ve been wearing it for a few years now and I love how fresh and sweet it smells. I used to wear Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb, but that got too musky for me and I think lighter floral scents work well with my natural body..smell (odor? I don’t have B.O.) I always get comments on how good it smells when I’m at work. Sometimes my coworkers will be like, “I smell flowers, Melissa must be here,” No joke. Not even kidding. If you’re looking for a bright, fresh, sweet floral scent, I definitely suggesting trying this one.

065 Caramel Infused (L), 060 Nude Illusion (R)

I’m loving these lipglosses! They remind me of the Marc Jacbobs Lacquer Lip Vinyls (which I splurged on one and I lost it. RIP my sweet baby gloss) These lipglosses are very opaque and have that sweet caramel scent to them. Application isn’t too thick, it glides on my lips, and the product is very creamy, almost like a lip balm. It lasts a while as well, however, since it smells so good I usually end up licking my lips and losing color. FYI they don’t taste good.

Last but not least, I picked up two mascaras (so weird of me right?). I picked up the new Revlon All-in-One mascara and the Jordana Cosmetics Best Lash Extreme Mascara. I will be reviewing these in different posts! I’m excited to see how they perform!

That’s all I got for this haul, I’m sure I will have another coming soon!

Thank you for reading! Be sure to like and subscribe!

P.S. I didn’t make a gif for this post so I’ll entertain you with one that I thought I lost but just found:

I know exactly what you mean! My other favourites are CK IN2U, Miss Dior, Bvlgari (doesnt say the name it is a light yellow shade in a clear/gold bottle), and Gucci guilty is nice too but I’m starting to feel that it smells too mature. A cheap one is nikki minaj’s scents which are soo good!
