Ulta Beauty Haul!

A voice inside me kept telling me that I needed new makeup and thus, this haul was born.

I stopped in at my local Ulta Beauty this past weekend and I picked up all new items! Yay for change! (no, not really though)

Here’s what I got:

Essence How to Make Nude Eyes Palette –

$9.99 at Ulta. Has a mirror on the top half, I just didn’t want you guys to see me taking the photo!

            All shimmery shades, no mattes

I mainly bought this because the packaging caught my eye. I’m such a sucker for cute packaging. It’s like I think that the cuter the packaging, the cuter it will make me look (I don’t know why my brain is so weird). Please tell me I’m not the only one. I already own a couple nude palettes; and when I saw this, I thought, “why not one more? It’s only 10 bucks!” I prefer matte shadows and this is all shimmer, but hey, I’m open to trying it out.

Essence Plump No Clump Mascara in Deep Black –

I was kind of on an Essence kick since I have never owned anything from them and the price-point is relatively low compared to the other drugstore brands. In the photo, the only difference between the orange and green mascara is that the orange is a regular black and the green is a “deep” black. I’m excited to try this because I love a good rubber bristle brush for my mascara and this one seems up to par with the others!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation –

I’ve heard SO many good things about this foundation. It says on the bottle that it gives you, “The skin you were born to have.” I’m in Ulta like, “SIGN ME UP, I WANT THAT.” They have a decent amount of shades and I was stuck between two so hopefully the one I picked out works. Supposedly, it’s undetectable medium-to-full coverage and 98% of people say that this foundation makes their skin looks absolutely PERFECT (it actually says that on the box). I’m sooo excited to try it, let me know if you guys would like to read a review!

Urban Decay 24/7 Lipliner in Deep/ NYX Lipliner in Brown –

NYX Brown on the left, and UD Deep on the right

I’m always on the hunt for a my lip but better (MLBB) color and I also love deep dark nudish-brown lips. I think Deep from Urban Decay might be MLBB (on the dark rose side), but I need to try Kat Von D’s Lolita liner first. NYX’s lipliner in brown just gives me that fall look I have been craving. The color isn’t just brown either; it has chestnut/mahogany undertones that just make me want to roll around in leaves and drink/eat pumpkin spiced everything (even though I don’t like the flavor of pumpkin)

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer –

I’ve heard good things about this concealer, yet I’m skeptical because I prefer thicker creamy concealers. When sampling at Ulta it did feel lightweight and I had 2 associates walk up to me saying how it was their favorite concealer and that I would love it etc. I haven’t actually tried it yet because I still have a little of my Bye Bye Under Eye from It Cosmetics left, but I’m really hoping I love this!

What do you guys think of my haul? Have you tried any of these products out? Please let me know!

Thanks for reading!

I’ve heard really great things about the Born This Way foundation, too. I would love to hear your review about it! I am concerned about how it would hold up to the humidity down here in Miami:(

Omg you’re in Miami?? That’s gotta be some sticky weather! Yeah I heard it’s more of a “natural glow” foundation but it’s formulated in a way where oily girls don’t look oily, I don’t think that would do well it the humidity of Miami! California is pretty warm but not as humid! I will def do a review!
